Candidate for the House of Representatives representing Eti-Osa Federal Constituency, Hon. Adedayo Akin-Taylor Ekong, has outlined an ambitious development agenda focused on job creation, economic growth, skills development and the attraction of federal investments to the constituency.
Speaking on her vision for Eti-Osa, Ekong identified key areas he intends to prioritise if elected as a parliamentarian, stressing the need for a legislative agenda that creates tangible economic opportunities and improves the quality of life of constituents.

Job Creation
Ekong said expanding employment opportunities for young people and residents of Eti-Osa would be a major focus of his legislative agenda, with emphasis on initiatives capable of creating sustainable livelihoods.

She plans to promote the growth of the technology and digital economy, positioning Eti-Osa to take greater advantage of Nigeria’s rapidly expanding technology sector and the opportunities it offers young people and businesses.

Waterfront Economy

According to Ekong, small and medium-sized enterprises are essential to economic empowerment. She intends to support policies and initiatives that make it easier for local businesses to grow, access opportunities and create jobs.

Skills acquisition and human-capital development also feature prominently in her agenda, with a focus on equipping young people and other residents with practical skills relevant to today’s economy.
